Abaca
The Abaca is a hand-woven high-pile rug made from the fibres of the abaca plant, a species of banana native to the Philippines. The natural fibre carries a subtle sheen, holds up to daily life, and develops a finer character over time. Crafted in Belgium, available in custom sizes up to 500 cm if required.
Its slightly coarse texture makes it robust enough for living rooms and hallways without looking industrial. It reflects light gently rather than dominating a space, fitting into pale, pared-back rooms as naturally as it does into Boho interiors. A rug that doesn't promise longevity. It already has it.
