The Baleschwar Felder is a hand-knotted oriental rug from India. Virgin wool with silk fibres woven in, 323,000 knots per square metre. The dense pattern of ornaments and fields emerges knot by knot, shaped by hands that have known this craft for generations. The short pile feels firm underfoot, the silk fibres give the surface a quiet lustre.
A rug that works in classical rooms as naturally as in interiors with an ethno accent. The knot density makes it hard-wearing enough for entrance halls, dining rooms or living rooms.
